About Us

According to His Word Outreach knows that our strength lies not only in the words we stand by but most importantly through the actions of our initiatives. Back in 2021, our Non-Profit Organization realized that by working together we could overcome our challenges much more efficiently, and that is why we ultimately decided to launch According to His Word Outreach. We are a voice for the oppressed and provide education and help for community members who are dealing with all forms of trauma and those who need basic resources to thrive.

Activities

According to His Word Outreach is achieving more with our initiatives than ever before. We work on many exciting projects to help improve the lives of others and are very proud of the progress we continue to make. Toys for Families in Need

Each holiday season we partner with local toy drives to connect families with unwrapped toys for their children during the holiday season.

UPDATE: As of 11/30/23 our Holiday Toy Request form is closed for this season. We will follow up with the families who submitted the form already.

Housing Readiness and Retention

ATHWO believes that change comes from within, and we possess the ability to overcome any obstacle in life. We are an extension of the community to support those who need it most. We
create programming based on the needs of the community. We have a background as housing specialists, community health workers, traditional health workers, and mental health practitioners. We embody wrap-around
support.

Houseless Outreach & Employment Services

With this initiative, our goal is to promote great opportunities for those in need. With access to the right resources, people can become empowered by their own abilities and gain the confidence to fulfill their potential.
